Our Story
How SiteForge Started
SiteForge grew out of Mateusz's own interest in building websites. He started by making sites for friends and family who simply needed to exist online — nothing complicated, just a real presence on the internet.
Today the clients we work with are a different scale entirely — businesses that themselves serve thousands of customers across Ireland and Europe. What hasn't changed is the approach: we're a team that likes a challenge and keeps raising our own bar, doing what we can to give every client what they expect, usually with more context and information than they asked for.
We connect remotely, through our own servers, directly with the people we work for — and we walk them through how to actually use the solutions we put in place. We try to translate anything complicated into plain language, so everyone knows what does what and how it works.

SiteForge is a collective — a group of independent freelancers, each running their own business, who work together under one shared brand. There is no registered company called SiteForge; when you work with us, you work directly with the person doing the work.
We work remotely, coordinate closely with each other, and focus on quality over quantity. Every project is approached individually — from concept to launch — with attention to performance, usability and long-term stability.
We usually work with small businesses, startups and individuals who value direct contact and long-term stability over quick fixes and call centres.

We run our own servers, which we use for testing and trying out solutions before they go live. Production sites usually run on established infrastructure like Amazon Web Services, Hetzner or OVH.

Mateusz K.
Web Developer
Mateusz has been a web developer for 15 years. He got his start building game server networks and a community forum from scratch, and has stayed hands-on with new technology ever since. Outside of work he is into IT and computers, Star Wars and sci-fi films, and a good game when he gets the time.

A small, consistent group of people you deal with directly — currently Mateusz on development and Patrycja on content — not a rotating account-manager or a call centre.
Where is the team based?
We work remotely, with hosting infrastructure based in the EU.
Can I meet or talk to someone directly before starting?
Yes — every project starts with a direct conversation so you know exactly who you are working with.
Do you only work with businesses in Ireland?
Most of our clients are in Cork and across Ireland, but we also work with businesses in Poland and elsewhere in Europe.
